Cast iron 70cc cylinder kit for Peugeot air cooled horizontally opposed scooters. The piston is fitted with a molybdenum coating which protects both the cylinder and piston during running in, this coating will usually dissolve over time. This cylinder is suitable for use with both original and performance exhaust systems. When using the original carb you will need to increase the jetting by approximately 7-10% but we recommend using a 17.5mm – 19mm carb for optimum performance. Supplied as pictured with cylinder, piston, pin, clamps, rings and gaskets. The original cylinder head can be used. When using the original head you may find that you may have problems with the electric starter due to the increased compression, in this case we recommend the 70cc head. This kit is ideal for everyday use with a significant power gain under acceleration.
