Replacement spring clip kickstarter pinion gear to fit vehicles fitted with 50cc Peugeot vertical lift engines. This part is only compatible with engines fitted with a Mikuni oil pump and a 20 tooth kickstarter main gear. Pinion Head Height: 12.5mm Spline Teeth Count: 7 ***Please check that your existing pinion has the exact same pinion head size and spline teeth count before purchasing as Peugeot use 6 different types. Other sizes used are 13.5mm and 15.5mm and some pinions will have 8 teeth on the splines and be used with a 21 tooth main gear so accuracy is key. Fitting the wrong size pinion will cause the kickstart mechanism to wear more quickly and may cause damage to other kickstarter components*** Note: For Peugeot scooters with Keihin oil pumps and a 20 tooth final drive pinion you will need part number 21080. For models with Euro2 engines from 2004 onwards and electric oil pumps and a 20 tooth final drive pinion you will need part number 16002. We currently do not have replacement 8 tooth pinions in stock.
