Replacement starter bendix gear fits all 139 QMB/QMA engines and Peugeot 50cc scooters (not suitable for Peugeot 100cc scooters). The starter bendix creates the connection between the starter motor and the crankshaft and is a common cause of starting problems. A creaking or knocking noise when starting often indicates a problem with the bendix. If left in place, it can cause serious damage to the engine housing.
